UPDATE from Cutec on Coronavirus:

To most of our clients, we are a critical business partner to which they depend on us being available. We understand that clients are concerned about our ability to provide services and support them during this difficult time. 

While our number one priority remains the safety and well being of our team. We also take the responsibility of continuing to deliver the level of service our clients expect very seriously.

We are staying well informed of the developing situation and following the advice and recommendations from the Government and Public Health England.

Team members

We are following the latest Government recommendations and therefore staff are now all working from home until further notice. 

Cutec OFFICE

Our office is now temporarily closed. Meetings with clients or suppliers will be conducted online or via the telephone.

ONSITE SUPPORT

Following the PM's announcement on Monday 23rd March we have now cancelled all onsite appointments that are non-urgent or routine. IT Engineers are classed as a key worker so we will still be making onsite visits for business down or emergency requests. 

We are asking any team member with flu-like symptoms to self-isolate for fourteen days. As our onsite team are out visiting clients premises we will be asking them to follow strict hygiene regimes, we will also be calling ahead to ensure clients are still available for a visit and that they have not had any Coronavirus related issues.

We appreciate that cancelling pre-booked appointments is inconvenient, but we are doing this for the protection of our team members, clients staff and to ensure we are available to deal with emergency situations for our clients, at a time when clients need us the most.

We look forward to seeing clients again, face to face, when the situation passes.

Business Continuity

We have in-depth business continuity and emergency plans to help us maintain a service to clients during times of disruption. All team members can fully work from home. As you would expect, we use the latest IT, Cloud and VOIP telephone technology to allow us to provide full telephone support services from any location.

FINANCIAL HARDSHIP

We understand that many clients are experiencing financial hardship due to the Coronavirus and may be worried about upcoming charges for services. Please give us a call on 01752 231 760 option 3 if you are effected. The team are on the phones and ready to help. Please do not just cancel a direct debit without understanding the impact that may have on cloud services such as email, backup and storage. Failing to pay for some key services (like Office 365) could cause permanent data loss if providers close accounts.

Supply Chain

We are working closely with our suppliers to understand where supply chain issues may arise and how best to mitigate these risks. We encourage clients to contact us to provide information about anticipated needs they may have coming up.

This is a fluid situation but we are making every effort to mitigate disruptions to our clients as much as possible. 

We have found sourcing laptops, webcams and wireless adapters very challenging.

We understand this is a very concerning time for everyone and each client is facing their own set of challenges.
