Mark Rowland - Managing Director
As a co-founder of Cutec, Mark started the company with Kristian Callaghan in 1999. Since then Mark has had a part in leading the company and has helped it grow into the successful business it is today. Like in any small business Mark has many roles but on a day to day basis concentrates in the following areas:
- Sales and Client Project Management
- Accounts and Company Administration
- Financial Operations
- Purchasing
- Remote Support
Mark is a Chartered IT Professional, Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Licensing Sales Specialist and has passed exams in Sage Line 50. Mark is also a Member of the British Computer Society.
Kristian Callaghan — Operations Director
As co-founder of Cutec, Kris started the company with Mark Rowland in 1999. Over the past nine years Kris has helped lead the company and has had a big part in allowing it to grow into the successful business it is today. As well as being a board member Kris holds the title of Operations Director and so is kept busy both in the office and out on site. He mainly concentrates his efforts on the following areas:
- Client Management
- Technical Support
Kris has passed all the exams set by Microsoft to be recognised as a Microsoft Certified Professional.
Phil Pearce — Technical Director
Phil joined the company in 2004 where he started out as a trainee technician. He has since then developed his skills and joined the board in April 2008 as our Technical Director. As well as being a board member Phil on a day to day basis concentrates his efforts on:
- Technical Support
- Website Creation, Maintenance and Updates
Phil has passed all the exams set by Microsoft to be recognised as a Microsoft Certified Professional.
Matt Wright — Technician
Matt became part of the team in 2005, since then Matt has developed from a trainee technician to a fully qualified engineer. Being part of the technical team, Matt’s main role is to be out on the road, helping clients with any technical issues they may have. On the rare occasion that Matt is in the office he will assist with repairs and machine preparations.
Matt has passed all the exams set by Microsoft to be recognised as a Microsoft Certified Professional and is the first in the company to be awarded Microsoft Technology Specialist in Microsoft Windows Vista.
- Technical Support
Neil Howard — Technician
Neil joined the company is 2006 and is our first line technical support engineer. On a day to day basis, Neil is responsible for the following:
- Telephone / Remote Technical Support
- Repairs and New Equipment Preparation
Neil is currently working hard to achieve his Microsoft Certification.
Claire Ford — Personal Assistant
Claire joined the company in 2002 as an Administrator; two years later she decided to take a career change and left us in 2004. In 2007 Claire rejoined the company as a Personal Assistant to Mark Rowland. Claire’s day to day responsibilities include:
- General Office Management
- Telephone Duties
- Managing Technical Diaries and Making Appointments
- Website Updates
Claire has qualifications in Printing and Origination, Graphic Design and Desktop Publishing and so heads all Cutec branding and marketing activities.
